David Hockney at the Tate Britian

POSTED: Monday, February 13, 2017

A commodious and collaboratively curated exhibition of influential works by David Hockney has opened at the Tate Britain to stellar reviews across the board; as one of the most authoritative artists of the twentieth century, the exhibition salutes the six decades of his multi-faceted career.

Exploring his embrace of new methodologies and technologies as the artist approaches his eightieth birthday, the retrospective will feature works in paint, print, photography and video, and depict scenes as varied as the Yorkshire Dales and lux LA swimming pools.

Also to feature a selection of new and never before seen work, the serial show affords its audience a once in a lifetime opportunity to understand how the roots of each new direction undertaken by the artist lay in the work that came before.

A true triumph, David Hockney at the Tate Britain will run until the 29th May 2017…we highly recommend!
