Muriel's Kitchen

Following on from the success of our Soho Art Takeover with Muriel’s Kitchen, Loughran Gallery returned to the hotspot, this time bringing the cutting edge Contemporary Art together with home cooked food at their South Kensington and Richmond locations.

But a-stones throw from South Kensington station vivid watercolour works by contemporary artist Dave White were hung, reflecting the hustle and bustle of this vibrant location, and Piers Bouke brought iconic London inside with a colonnade of brilliant and bright pieces from his Soon To Be Removed series inspired by the decommission of BT's British Telephone Box.

In Richmond we enjoyed the natural world from the warmth of the cosy kitchen with Dave White’s acclaimed animal artworks alongside Piers Bourke's A Boy Named Sioux, beautifully reimagined from one of Americas most beautiful historic stamps, set amongst the comfy velvet tub chairs and bric-a-brac bird cage lamps.

Whilst we were there, our friends at Muriel’s Kitchen invited us to collaborate on a feverishly festive project; the design for their annual Christmas cup. Beautifully illustrated by artist Corinne Dalle-Ore the miniature masterpieces were available across all their London locations, the perfect pairing with a scrumptious hot chocolate or luxurious latte.
