"Creating artwork for the satellite Radiology Department at Nevill Hall Hospital in Abergavenny has been one of the true highlights of my career. Not just because of the commission itself, but because it's emotionally, so close to home.
I’ve been in places like this, sat in these waiting rooms. I understand the quiet tension that lingers in these spaces.
Commissioned by the Aneurin Bevan NHS Trust and made in collaboration with the very lovely Emma from Studio Response these works were created to bring a sense of stillness into a space often filled with quiet anxiety and waiting.
They are not about resolution or reassurance. They are about presence. About creating a moment of calm. A breath. A pause.
My hope is that they offer something gentle to those who pass through.
The wall coverings are part of a much larger project."
