New words for a new year
With the count down to New Years Eve on, Loughran Gallery is taking the opportunity to make the most of the last hours of 2015 and celebrate the outgoing year in all the colours, shapes and styles sure to emerge on the night sky at midnight on the 31st.
With a collection of creatures big and small, from Nick Jeffrey’s ethereal butterflies to Frédérique Morrel’s playful bunnies and Dave White’s majestic Stag painting, the gallery’s final group show of the year celebrates life and vibrancy in the final days of 2015.
And to see in 2016, Charlie Barton’s stunning Hermes looms large like a new moon on an even newer year while opposite, Piers Bourke’s installation of his series of Soon To Be Removed, burst through like colourful fireworks against New Year’s dark sky.
And with Corinne Dalle Ore’s most recent painting Hong Kong Fever freshly installed in the gallery, her homage to cityscapes through explosions of colour on a city skyline, we already feel in the throes of the celebration and hope a New Year brings.
We would like to wish all our friends and clients a Happy New Year and to thank them for being part of an amazing 2015 for Loughran Gallery; and with forthcoming shows and events already in the pipeline, we look forward to a fantastic 2016 with you all…
