Muriel’s Art Takeover 2016
We're super excited to announce our 2016 Summer Art Takeover at our favorite Soho eatery, Muriel's Kitchen! We had a ball at our residency - which began in 2014 - and simply couldn’t resist heading back to Old Compton Street with a selection of summer fresh works...
The way to a Loughran Gallery girl’s heart – after art, of course – is food; kitchens are at the heart of our homes, and we’re bringing the love with some art and food-fusion fun to London's most vibrant area. We look forward to sharing with you, some of the very best work from some of today’s most exciting contemporary artists in this cosy home-from-home, where you can enjoy dishes inspired by the hearty cooking of Nana Muriel - making the whole process of viewing and buying art relaxed and enjoyable.
From the exuberant mixed-media works of Corinne Dalle-Ore, the beautiful Believe In Extraordinary by Tracey Emin and Piers Bourke’s iconic Lick My Rear, which captures the nostalgic iconography of the postage stamp and its cultural significance, to Dave White’s vivacious Hummingbirds and the hedonistic Health And Safety Is Killing Bondage by Harland Miller, there’s something to satisfy every taste. We can't wait to show our contemporary pieces in this intimate setting, showing you just how easy it is to bring any work of art into your home.
You can find us at Muriel’s Kitchen, 36 - 38 Old Compton Street, London, W1D 4TT from Monday - Saturday between 8AM – 11.30PM and Sunday 9AM – 10.30PM through to the end of August 2016, we look forward to seeing you there!
